As a material, grade 1.4521 steel is characterised by its higher chromium and molybdenum content, as well as its dual stabilisation with titanium and niobium. This results in a high PREN (pitting resistance equivalent number) of > 24, clearly demonstrating the material’s exceptional durability. Thanks to its innovative composition, stainless steel is far less affected by raw material price trends, giving you greater costing security and, in turn, helping to make you more competitive. The modern laser welding process used for production does not require any filler materials and ensures very narrow weld seams.
