Multi-layer pipe

Viega Pexfit Pro pipes of the dimensions 16 to 63 mm are made of polyethylene with an aluminium layer as an oxygen barrier layer in accordance with DIN 4726. They are particularly dimensionally stable and at the same time easy to bend even in small radii – an advantage especially in installations in confined spaces.

Robust gunmetal

The Pexfit Pro press connectors of the dimensions 32 to 63 mm are made of gunmetal , a high-quality material that combines excellent corrosion resistance with outstanding hygiene properties.

Assembly with Pexfit Pro - quick, clean and safe

Step 1

Cut the pipe

Cut the pipe to length using pipe shears. After that, no further calibration is required.

Step 2

Fit the press connector

Attach the press connector to the pipe and apply the press jaw. No expansion or calibration is necessary, as all components are pre-assembled. No additional tools are required. A window allows the insertion depth to be checked before and after pressing.

Step 3

Press

Force-fit the press connector and the pipe using a Viega Pexfit Pro hand press tool or a Viega Pressgun . Here too, the SC-Contur offers maximum safety.

And that’s it!

The result is a tight and secure connection that is immediately ready to bear the full load.
